Paul Byrne joins Pepper Group

Experienced treasury executive, Paul Byrne has joined Global Credit provider Pepper Group as Group Treasurer.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Paul joins Pepper from QBE Insurance, where he was also Group Treasurer.  His experience at both QBE and before that, Permanent TSB in Ireland, provides him with the important global experience the group requires to facilitate the Company’s efforts in driving further growth in its lending and servicing businesses across Europe and Australia.

In this role, Paul, who will be based in Australia, will focus on broadening the group’s existing treasury capability to become more globally focused, as Pepper seeks to optimise cash flow, strengthen the balance sheet and diversify the debt investor base to cater for this growth.
